Terms and Conditions

The Hirer will pay a hire fee in full prior to the event: 

(b) The balance of the hire fee is to be paid no later than one week before the party. 

We will: 

(a) Maintain public liability insurance in respect of the venue. 

(b) Ensure that the venue is in a clean condition and any pre-existing damage to the fixtures or fittings of the venue shall be noted as a schedule attached to this agreement and signed by both parties. 

(c) Ensure that the hirer has access to the Venue at all times during the term of hire. 

(d) Provide one staff member from Gold Coast Performance Centre to be of assistance for the duration of the party. 

(e) Provide an air-conditioned venue. 

(f) Provide a fridge, freezer and bluetooth speaker to use (BYO music). 

The Hirer will: 

(a) Use their best efforts to maintain the Venue in the condition it was in at the commencement of the term of hire, subject to usual wear and tear. 

(b) Clean up all of their rubbish and place in bins provided, plus remove any decorations and rubbish from the floors (staff member will wipe all tables down for next party). Please note, cleaning is to be completed within your allocated time slot. 

(c) Inform Gold Coast Performance Centre staff immediately on the Hirer becoming aware of any breakage or damage to the venue or its fittings or fixtures and pay for any damage or loss suffered by Gold Coast Performance Centre that is caused by the negligence of the Hirer. 

(d) No alcoholic beverages, smoking or pets onsite. 

(e) Not interfere with or alter any of the electrical installations, lighting, sound systems or other technical equipment owned by Gold Coast Performance Centre.

 (f) Make sure that all food and beverages are to be left in the designated eating area at all times and at no time be taken onto the play equipment or play area. 

(g) Not enter the babies area unless booked prior. 

(h) Bring their own food, cakes and beverages. 

(i) Be able to bring their own choice of party decorations (no confetti). 

(j) Be able to bring their own party games (please be mindful of what you put as prizes as there is to be no food in the play area). 

(k) Maximum of 50 guests (adults and children combined). 

(l) No face painting, sparklers or pinatas. 

(a) Gold Coast Performance Centre must be given 30 days notice if the Hirer wishes to cancel the hiring of the Venue.

(b) Cancellations with less notice will incur the loss of the deposit under clause 1(a).
