The Pinnacle Charitable Foundation

Together with our Affiliates, the Pinnacle Charitable Foundation is committed to helping our not-for-profit partners connect and engage with, and positively impact, the lives of thousands of Australians of all ages. Each partnership is carefully selected for its relevance to Pinnacle's values, its importance to employees across Pinnacle and the wider Group, and its strategic fit with the interests of specific fund managers.

Through the Foundation and our Affiliates, we are currently championing those who are working to deliver tangible outcomes across six core focus areas:

  • Promotion of strong mental health awareness, together with support for prevention and early intervention strategies aimed at reducing mental illness and driving down suicide rates: R U OK?, ReachOut Australia and batyr Australia
  • Support for children from a range of environments who face acute and / or systemic disadvantage: The Mirabel Foundation, Yalari, NASCA and Lighthouse Foundation
  • Legal assistance and advocacy for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence: Full Stop Foundation
  • Capacity building for world-leading medical researchers seeking treatments and cures for children's genetic diseases and for dementia sufferers: Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) and Australian Alzheimer's Research Foundation (AARF)
  • Resources to teach and deliver kindness, community care and resilience in a COVID-19 world: Kindness Factory and YWCA
  • Commitment to the environment, through a specific focus on supporting a more informed and diversified approach to water management: Peter Cullen Water and Environment Trust

"The determination, resilience and flexibility shown by our partners during the COVID-19 pandemic is extraordinary. Their willingness to see the "silver lining" afforded by the virus' impact and to adapt accordingly, and the immense sense of commitment and responsibility that each partner feels towards those they support - who are increasingly vulnerable in these difficult times - is both humbling and inspiring.

Thank you for contributing to our collective efforts as we aim to build a more creative, compassionate and clever Australia for all."  - Ian Macoun, Managing Director, Pinnacle Investment Management Group
